Why become a member
FIP (the International Federation of Podiatrists) brings together professional podiatry associations worldwide to strengthen the profession through the sharing of knowledge, practice and research.
As a member, your organisation can connect with an established global network and contribute to FIP’s core areas of work, including:
- International Podiatry Day (8 October) – raising awareness of foot health and the value of podiatry globally.
- The Global Podiatry Summit – a flagship event held every two years, bringing together the profession worldwide.
- Being the global voice of podiatry – representing the profession in high-level international organisations and building alliances with partner organisations.
- Developing global policy statements – supporting evidence-based practice, professional standards, and shared definitions and competency profiles.
