FIP is proud to announce a new partnership with Samaritan’s Feet International. Through this alliance, we share a common mission: to advance foot health for everyone, everywhere. Samaritan’s Feet works to ensure zero shoeless people in the world — and FIP brings the podiatric expertise to ensure those feet stay healthy. Together, we are committed to keeping the world on its feet.

The FIP began in 1947 as the Federation Internationale des Podologues. A group of French-speaking national organisations in Belgium, France, and Switzerland were responsible for its creation. Madam Decosterd of a Swiss organisation was the first President, and the first Congress was held in Zurich in 1953.
